Uusi sinkkumme False Dream erottuu aina-niin-melankolisesta grungerockista edukseen jopa ajoittaisilla ilon hetkillään. Tarkkakorvaisimmat voivat erottaa kielisoittajien hyväilevän instrumenttejaan soolo-osuuksillaan mitä miellyttävimmin tavoin.

Antti tells about making of the song;

”The song somehow created itself. Without any excessive hassle. It just came from somewhere, deep. Maybe the way of things are today made me realize that everything here is eventually temporary. The good and the bad. All the deeds and thoughts.
This new song is utterly dark nuanced and sentimental, yet beautiful. We’ve been able to create new sound dimensions with stereo guitars and this is indeed our first release for our guitar player Mirko to deliver cello in it!
A music video has also been crafted for the song.”

13 years and still grinding. Revengine, a finnish alternative rock – heavy grunge group, has seemingly been living under the radar during the COVID-19 pandemic. In reality, the band has been busy honing their upcoming album. The new melancholic yet explosively powerful single ’Depressm’ has been released today on 9th of September 2020, and the entire new album called ’Everyone Knows This Is Temporary’ will be released next year.

Revengine recorded the album in SF Sound Studio, Kontiolahti, one of the most respected studios in Finland. This studio is used by many internationally recognized artists, such as Nightwish and Children Of Bodom. The upcoming album has been recorded, mixed and produced by Ari Laurila, who is also working with Apulanta (finnish top 10 chart act). Mr. Laurila was really successful in capturing the true soul and the chemistry of the band on the new record.
